Microsoft Excel: Zip and Hide arrow keys(+reverse)

205| Thu, 22 May 2008 23:24:00 GMT| anonymous| Comments (2)
I have been working on a spreadsheet given to me that can
hide multiple columns and rows by clicking on an arrow key
located in the margins of the sheet.

How can I program this into other spreadsheets I develop
as this does not appear to be a function on standard Excel
2002?. Is there any add in functions offered by microsoft
that allows this function?.

Regards
Peter

Sounds like "Group and Outline" found in the Data menu.
Uses plus & minus signs, not arrows.

I generally just use Group & Ungroup via the standard buttons I hav
added to my toolbar. Just select entire Rows or Columns and click th
button (or use menu)

Select the rows or columns, click Data>Group and Outline>Group

It only works on contiguous ranges, though.
