Microsoft Excel: Zip Code

Hello,

I'm using Excel 2002 Pro and wanted to know if Excel can be set to recognize
zip codes automatically within a cell when it is entered in any document?
I know you can format the cells to Special - Zip Code within each doc, but
wanted to know if there was another option.

Thank you.

Even if it could, it sounds pretty scary to me.

Zipcodes can be from 1 digit to 9 digits. I wouldn't want all my numeric (up to
9 digits) converted to zipcodes.
